Spa Cleaning Services in Huntington Beach

    Weekly Spa Service

Consistent care keeps your spa ready to use. We test the chemistry, rinse the filter, wipe down the surface, and send a photo report after every visit.

    Drain & Refill Service

Every three to four months, your spa needs a fresh start. We perform a full drain, deep clean the filter, scrub the shell, and perfectly rebalance the new water.

    Filter Replacement

Filters degrade over time and lose their cleaning power. We handle regular cartridge cleaning and keep you on a schedule for necessary replacements.

What's Included in Our Weekly Spa Service

    • Test water chemistry (free chlorine/bromine, pH, alkalinity, calcium)
    • Add chemicals to balance
    • Rinse filter cartridge
    • Skim debris and wipe waterline
    • Check pump operation and pressure
    • Verify heater is reaching set temp
    • Inspect cover condition
    • Photo report after every visit

How Often Does a Spa Need Cleaning in Huntington Beach

High-use spas absolutely need weekly chemistry checks. Because the water volume is so small, usually just 300 to 500 gallons, the chemistry swings extremely fast when people use it. Lightly-used spas can often get by with biweekly chemistry checks and a monthly drain and refill to keep the water fresh.

Coastal Huntington Beach spas face unique challenges. The marine air carries fine salt and dust directly into the water and onto the cover. This means coastal spas often require extra filter cleaning compared to inland hot tubs to maintain perfectly clear water.

    Our Drain & Refill Process

Step 1: Power down and submersible pump out the spa

We safely turn off all power to the spa equipment to protect the heater and pump. Then, we use a fast submersible pump to drain the old, tired water out completely.

Step 2: Deep clean filter cartridge, scrub the shell, clean jets

While the spa is empty, we deep clean the filter cartridge to remove trapped oils. We scrub the acrylic shell to remove waterline buildup and clean out the jets so they flow freely.

Step 3: Refill with fresh water and shock dose

We refill the spa with fresh water straight from the hose. Once full, we apply a strong shock dose to immediately sanitize the new water and clear out any lingering plumbing lines.

Step 4: Balance chemistry and bring heater back online

Finally, we perfectly balance the pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels. We turn the power back on, verify the heater is engaging, and make sure the spa is ready for you to enjoy.

Free-Standing Hot Tub vs Pool Spa: Service Differences

In-ground spas attached to a pool share the pool's main chemistry and filtration system. When we balance the pool, the spa gets balanced too. Because of this, attached spas are simply folded into the weekly pool visit with minimal extra effort.

Free-standing hot tubs are an entirely separate beast. They have their own dedicated filter, pump, and chemistry needs that operate independently of any pool. Because they require separate testing and chemical dosing, they are priced as a separate stop on my route.
